Comic Art Fair Haarlem

Stripdagen Haarlem June 1 and 2: This year we will once again be present at the Haarlem Comic Fair. The guest of honor of the festival will be Chris Ware, with an exhibition at Gallery 37PK, located at Groot Heiligland 37.

To celebrate Chris Ware's presence at the festival, we are releasing a new print by him. This time in offset, allowing us to keep the price low.
Title: Chicago (after Saul Steinberg) by Chris Ware:
Size 50 x 70 cm. This print will be available at the retail price €19.95. Additionally, Chris Ware will kindly sign a few copies, available in our web shop for €35 each.
And to make it all complete, also available at the festival, a new offset print by Joost Swarte: Holidays in Books.

Notice: Both festival posters will be available from June 1-2, 2024. You can pick them up at De Haarlemse Stripdagen or we will ship them from Monday, June 3.

 

We are also excited to introduce three new prints by Joost Swarte:
1. Le Livre, Une Longue Vie (The Book, a Long Life):
This print showcases Swarte’s design of stained-glass windows for the library of Des Editions Glénat, at Couvent Sainte-Cécile, Grenoble, in 2009.
Giclée print, size 60 x 80 cm. Limited edition of 99 copies, numbered and signed. Price €225.
2. Pour Comprendre la Réalité (To Understand Reality):
Inspired by a cover drawing Joost Swarte created for the French magazine Bastille, this print captures his unique style.

3. Transatlantic Dream: A detail from 'Towards a Better Future'. This building complex stands out as a visual marvel. Size 30 x 40 cm. Limited edition of 99 copies, numbered and signed. Price €75.
