Baudoin, a famous French artist whose drawings we admire, was also present at the Comic Fair in Haarlem. His bold, black and white brush strokes tell a story which needs no text. At one of his recent exhibitions of women’s portraits, held at Galerie Année, he signed the silkscreen we made of one of these portraits, ‘La femme. La vie’.
Peter Pontiac
In the 70’s, Peter Pontiac, the famous Dutch underground artist, made colourful back covers of pop idols for the music magazine, Muziek Expres. We have now published two of these as giclée prints: David Bowie and Mick Jagger.
Peter Pontiac died recently, and his widow, Ipie, authorised the prints with her signature. Both images come in an edition of 75 copies.

Charles Burns
We admire the work of Charles Burns from the beginning, especially his drawings in black and white, which almost look like wood carving. Most of the time they don't need any colour. These two cover drawings for The New Yorker are good examples. They appeared in the magazine in colour, but we have produced them as black and white silkscreens.

Blues - Mezzo

Country music - Erik Kriek

Henning Wagenbreth - Honky Zombie Tonk
Artist / designer Henning Wagenbreth, a new star in the comic world, works as a professor of the Illustration class at the University of Arts in Berlin. Typical for his art are the bright colours and special shapes.
We published the Dutch version of his graphic novel 'Honky Zombie Tonk' about the people of New Orleans and their music. This booklet (€ 19.95) comes with the poster shown above.
Also available 75 numbered copies with an extra silkscreen print (30 x 40 cm.) of Banjo Annie.

Streepbandpot Panorama
Around AD 1 the residents of the Frisian mounds made a new kind of pottery with distinctive stripes around the neck, so-called 'streepband' pottery. For the Frisian Museum Joost Swarte has created a mega cartoon strip recounting this story.
We published a triptych of this story in a limited edition of 35 copies
